How to Manually Add a Transaction in PropFirm Sync

Manually log prop firm transactions in PropFirm Sync — track eval fees, resets, activations, and payouts without connecting a bank.

Written by Marl

PropFirm Sync lets you log transactions manually — no bank connection required. Whether your bank isn't supported by Plaid yet, a transaction wasn't automatically detected, or you simply prefer to enter your data yourself, manual entry gives you full control over your financial records.

💡 Not sure if your bank is supported? Plaid currently supports US financial institutions and nearby regions only. If your bank isn't available to sync, you can still manually log all your prop firm transactions with these steps.

Step 1: Go to your PropFirm Sync dashboard by clicking the Flag icon in the left sidebar, or navigate directly to app.tradezella.com/challenges.

Step 2: Click the Transactions tab.

Step 3: Click + Add transaction button.

Step 4: Fill in the transaction details:

  • Date — The date the transaction occurred

  • Description — A label to identify the transaction

  • Challenge — The challenge this transaction is linked to

  • Firm — The prop firm this transaction belongs to

  • Category — The transaction type (e.g., Evaluation Fee, Reset Fee, Activation Fee, Payout)

  • Amount — The transaction amount

  • Status — Reviewed, Not Reviewed, or Ignored

💡 How to enter amounts correctly:

  • Expenses (evaluation fees, reset fees, activation fees) — Enter as a negative value (e.g., -300)

  • Income (payouts, affiliate income) — Enter as a positive value (e.g., 3000)

PropFirm Sync determines whether a transaction is an income or an expense based on whether the amount is positive or negative.

Step 5: Click the checkmark button on the right side of the transaction row to save.

Your transaction is now logged and will be reflected in your Dashboard totals.
