Your P&L tells you how a trading day performed. Rate My Day lets you capture how it felt — a quick gut-check you can look back on anytime. Learn how to rate a day, update a rating, and see your ratings right on the calendar.
What Rate My Day Is
Rate My Day is a quick way to record how a day felt. You pick one of five faces, from 😭 (lowest) to 😍 (highest), under the question "How do you feel about this trading day?" You can also add a note in the Add a note (optional) field, up to 500 characters — a counter appears as you get close to the limit.
You can rate a day from Start My Day, the Day view, and the calendar. Ratings can also show on the Advanced Calendar on the dashboard.
Rate Today's Trading Day
Open Start My Day and go to the Trade Review stage.
Under "How do you feel about this trading day?", click the face that fits.
If you want, type a note in Add a note (optional).
Rate a Past Day
You can rate a past day in three places, as long as it's a day you started with Start My Day:
That day's Trade Review — same as rating today, but pick that date instead: open Start My Day, use the date picker to select the past day, then go to the Trade Review stage. Pick a face, and add a note if you want.
The day's card in the Day view — click the icon in the card's header: a + if the day hasn't been rated yet, or the chosen face if it has. This opens a window titled "How do you feel about this trading day?" with the date, the five faces, and a note field
The calendar day window — click a day on the calendar. The rating band sits between the day's header and its trade table. Pick a face and add a note if you want — it saves automatically, with no Save button needed.
⚠️ Only days started with Start My Day can be rated — a day you never started shows no rating control at all.
See Your Ratings on the Calendar
Open the Advanced Calendar on the dashboard.
Open the Display stats menu.
Turn on Day rating.
Each day's face shows in its calendar cell. Days without a rating show nothing.
Note: The emoticons don't carry text labels, on purpose — there's no shared meaning for each one, so it's up to you to decide what each face represents.
⚠️ Rate My Day isn't available in backtesting or on the Week view.
Rate My Day gives every trading day a quick, personal gut-check — one you can look back on anytime to see how your trading really felt, not just how it performed.
