Logging a note for each trading day helps you capture lessons learned and context alongside your performance data, including days when you didn't trade.
Adding Notes for a Specific Trading Day
Go to the Day tab on the Trades page.
Find the trading day you want to add a note to.
Click + Add note on that day (or View note if a note is already there) to open the note editor.
Logging Notes for Future Days
Click Start my day at the top right of the Trades page.
Pick the date you want to log notes for from the calendar that opens.
Documenting and Saving Your Notes
Clicking + Add note or View note opens the Day view editor for that date, showing a summary of the day (Net P&L, trade count, win rate) at the top.
Use the Templates button to insert a saved template, or write your note directly — the editor supports formatting, links, and more.
Click View in Notebook to open the same note from within your Notebook.
Click Save to save your note.
These notes are saved to your Notebook's Daily Journal folder, so you can find them alongside your other notes at any time.
By consistently logging your daily notes, you'll build a valuable resource that can help you track your progress and improve your trading performance over time. 📈
