Start My Day is your guided trading day in TradeZella. It walks you through your session step by step, keeping your rules, notes, and results in one place so you can stay focused and build consistency.

Click the Start my day button on your Dashboard to begin your trading day. You can also start your day from Day View.

When you click Start my day, you'll be asked to select a day. Pick today to work on today's session, or pick a previous date to open that day.

The Four Stages of Your Trading Day

From there, your day flows through four stages: Planning, Trading, Import Trades, and Trade Review.

Review your game plan and trading rules, check the Event Calendar, and take pre-market notes. This is where you set yourself up for the session before the market opens.

Keep your rules and notes in view during your session and capture chart screenshots as it unfolds. Everything you noted in Planning stays visible so you can stick to your plan.

Pick the account you traded in to import today's trades. Once imported, they'll show up in the next stage for review.

See your results for the day — P&L, win rate, and rule adherence — then click Finish My Day to lock in your progress.

💡 Note: In the Trade Review stage, you can also use Zella AI to speed up your review. Trade Auto-Tagger automatically tags your trades, while Session Review gives you a narrative reflection on your day — rule adherence, playbook fit, deviations from your pre-market plan, and overall feedback on how your session went.

You can switch between stages at any time — just click any stage (Planning, Trading, Import Trades, or Trade Review) at the top of the page to jump straight to it. You're free to move back and forth and update any stage as often as you like, right up until you click Finish My Day, which ends your day and locks in your progress.
