How to Set Up the Sessions Indicator in TradeZella

Use TradeZella's sessions indicator to focus on the Asian session — disable the other sessions and adjust the session timings.

Written by Hamza

TradeZella's Sessions Indicator lets you track specific trading sessions on your chart. By turning off the London and New York sessions, you can focus on just the Asian session — and adjust its timings to match how you trade.

⚠️ Note: Timings in session indicator settings are set in UTC.

How do I set up the Asian Session Indicator?

  • On your backtesting chart, click Indicators in the top toolbar.

  • Search for session, then select Sessions Indicator by TradeZella.

The indicator is added to your chart, showing all three sessions by default.

How to disable other sessions and only show the Asian session?

  • Hover over the Sessions Indicator name at the top of your chart and click the Settings (gear) icon.

  • On the Style tab, uncheck New York and London. Only Asia stays active, making it function as your Asian Session Indicator.

  • Click Ok to apply.

Your chart now shows only the Asian session.

How do I adjust the session timing? (Optional)

You can customize the start and end times of any session to match your trading preferences.

  • Open the indicator Settings and go to the Inputs tab.

  • Adjust the session times (all in UTC).

  • After adjusting the settings, click OK to apply the changes to your chart.

🚀 Bonus: Jump to a Specific Session Quickly

Session indicators are also useful when combined with the “Go-To” feature. You can quickly skip to the start of the Asian session (or any other active session), saving you from manually scrolling through time.
