What is Student / Mentee Mode?
Student Mode allows you to invite a mentor to access your TradeZella account and review your trades, notes, and stats directly. This makes it easy for your mentor to give you personalized, data-driven feedback based on your real-time trading data, trades, notes, and stats to help you improve
Both the mentor and mentee(student) must have an active TradeZella subscription to use Mentor / Mentee(student) Mode. If the mentee or mentor does not yet have an account, the invitation email will prompt them to sign up and subscribe before accepting the mentorship request.
How to Access Student / Mentee Mode
You can access Student Mode directly from your TradeZella account:
Navigate to the left sidebar
Click on "Mentor Mode"
Then click on "Student Mode"

How to Invite a Mentor
You can send an invitation for someone to be your mentor by clicking on Invite Mentor and entering their email address.
Choose which accounts you want to give your mentor access to.
Use the Full Access toggle to decide whether they have full or view-only access.
They will then receive a Mentorship Invitation Request via email, saying that you’re inviting them to be your mentor. From here, they can choose to accept or decline your invitation by clicking on Manage Invite.
Alternatively, they can respond by clicking the bell icon 🔔 in the upper right corner inside TradeZella. From there, they'll see a New mentorship invitation alert with Accept and Reject buttons.
Breaking Down the Student / Mentee Mode Dashboard
Your Student Mode dashboard is divided into three sections that help you manage your mentorship invitations:
Accepted: These are mentors who have accepted your mentor request and can access your Tradezella account.
Pending: These are mentors whom you have sent an invite to but have not yet accepted the request.
Requests: These are mentors who have asked you to be their mentor and access your Tradezella account. You can review these requests and either accept or reject their invitation by clicking the three-dot menu (⋮) next to their name
Note: After adding a mentor, if you want to change their access, you can change it by clicking on edit on both "Accepted" and "Pending".
Revoking a Mentor’s Access
You can revoke a mentor’s access to your account at any time:
Go to the Accepted Mentors list.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮), then the Remove button for the mentor you’d like to remove.
Note: This process cannot be undone.
Student Mode gives you the control to choose who can access your trading data and for how long. By inviting a mentor, you can gain valuable insights and support to improve your trading performance.
