The Chat tab is your Space's live messaging channel — a place to talk trading, share ideas, and ask questions with other members in real time. 💬
How Do I Send a Message?
Step 1: Open the Chat tab in your Space and click the Write a message... field.
Step 2: Type your message. Use the toolbar icons below the text field to attach additional context:
Trade — Attach a specific trade from your journal
Day — Attach a full trading day
Note — Attach a written note
Image — Upload an image or screenshot
Emoji — Add an emoji to your message 😊
Step 3: Click the Send button (purple arrow) to post your message or press Enter
What Else Can I Do in Chat?
Chat supports more than just plain text — here's what's available:
Bullet points — Structure your messages with bullet lists. To create one, either use the list dropdown in the toolbar or type a dash ( - ) followed by your text to start a bullet point, then press Enter to add the next bullet. When you're done with your list, press Enter twice to send your message.
Formatting — Use bold and italic text to style your messages
Links — Paste a URL and it will automatically appear as a clickable link 🔗
Mentions — Tag a community member using @ followed by their name to notify them
How Do I React, Edit, or Delete a Message?
Hover over any message to reveal the interaction options:
React — Add an emoji reaction 😊
Edit — Edit your own message after sending ✏️
Delete — Remove your own message 🗑️
