The editor covers seven areas: images, slash commands, emoji, embeds, importing and exporting, speech-to-text, and undo/redo — each is broken down below.
Adding Images to a Note
Paste or drag an image directly into a note.
Drag the handles at the corners to resize it.
Double-click the image to preview it.
A Caption field appears below the image for adding a description.
Using the "/" Slash Command
By hitting “/” on your keyboard, you’ll bring up a menu of command options that make note-taking a breeze.
With this command, you can effortlessly create:
Normal, Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3
Bulleted List, Numbered List, Check List, Timed List
Insert Table, Insert Image
Add trade, Add day
Quote, Code, Divider
Toggle (with Toggle Heading 1/2/3 options)
Collapsible
Align left / center / right / justify
Embed X (Tweet), Embed YouTube video
Inserting Emojis
Typing : within a note opens an emoji picker (organized into categories like Smileys & Emotion) for inserting emoji inline. You can browse by category or type to search/filter by name.
Embedding Tweets and YouTube Videos
Paste a YouTube link on its own line — a small popup appears with Embed YouTube video; select it to convert the link into a full embed, or Dismiss to leave it as a plain link.
Alternatively, use the "/" menu and select Embed X (Tweet) or Embed YouTube video directly.
Importing and Exporting a Note

Speech-to-Text Support
Take notes faster — and completely hands-free — with built-in Speech-to-Text support in TradeZella. Click the mic icon in the toolbar to dictate a note hands-free.
Undo and Redo
Click the two arrow icons ↪️ at the top right of the toolbar to undo or redo your last action.
Keyboard shortcuts also work: Cmd+Z / Ctrl+Z to undo, Cmd+Shift+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo.
The editor supports however you like to journal — from a quick emoji to a full trade chart.
